Letter to Class of 2020 Students & Parents/Guardians
05/20/2020
We share in your disappointment of the tremendous amount of loss that the Class of 2020 has faced due to the impact of COVID-19. While we all envisioned a traditional graduation ceremony out on the football field, surrounded by classmates, teachers, family, and friends, these plans have significantly been disrupted due to the global pandemic. Ellenville Middle School: Yearbook Update
05/01/2020
As we all adapt to this unprecedented change, one thing that remains constant is the tradition of documenting the history of our students and our school year with our YEARBOOK. Even though your children are not physically attending school, the yearbook staff continues to work hard on capturing all of the events of this time for what will be the only official time capsule of the year. Whether or not our kids are able to return to school before summer, our yearbook will be an important way for them to connect and celebrate their year. Since copies will be limited and school schedules continue to change, we ask that you please order your yearbook online as soon as possible. We have reopened on-line sales through May 15, 2020. Please go to the direct link (http://jostensyearbooks.com/?REF=A07635368) to purchase your book before this date. We hope you stay well and look forward to hearing from you soon.

Today, Thursday, April 23, we were notified that we have an essential staff member who has tested positive for novel coronavirus (COVID-19), and two other essential staff members who are undergoing testing. Out of an abundance of caution, the buildings, which have only been open for essential services, will now be completely closed for the next two weeks to allow time to thoroughly clean and sanitize. Staff will continue to work remotely and will be checking emails regularly. Distance learning will continue and all food deliveries will resume as scheduled. If you have any questions, please contact your main office. In closing, please continue to be safe. Each individual plays an important role in preventing the spread of this illness.
